Player Profiles

Seniors:

Elizabeth

As a four-year letter winner at shortstop, Elizabeth has always been a tough player in all areas of the game. �This number three hitter has been doing exceptionally well for the Lady Bulldogs.��Her constant hitting and hard throwing has helped this team have a winning season.

Angie

Angie is the starting third-baseman for Green. �She has great fielding mechanics and vaccums up anything in her reach. �She is also the clean-up hitter and has earned it by having more RBI's than any other player on the team.��She is a great assest to the team and will be missed.

Stephanie

As her second year as the starting second-baseman, she has accomplished tons for the team. �So far this year, she is practically flawless in her defense. �Stephanie also came alive in her hitting and drove in many runs in the past few games. �She is a great leader and has a lot of enthusiasm and love for the game.

Erin

Erin is in the middle of her fourth year on the varsity team. �She has played outfield every year, and this year her home is at right field. �Erin is having a fabulous year and is catching things left and right in the outfield. �Her powerful hitting immensely helps the team because she has been crushing the ball into the gaps.

Juniors:

Tina

Tina is the starting center "middle" fielder for the Lady Bulldogs. She has done a great job in the outfield and her strong throw helps get out the opponents. Tina has also enclosed into the second spot of the hitting line-up. She moves the runners very well and has many RBI's herself. Next year, the Bulldogs are looking for many good things to come from her.

Liz

This starting first-baseman has a fabulous stretch and great glove. She is also the team's backup pitcher and does a great job in both areas. Her bat has helped the team in many cases, and she always does her job up at bat. �She is one of the most reliable players on the field.

Jessica

She is Green's starting pitcher and has pitched the majority of the games with 12-2 record. �She is mainly a junk pitcher but also has speed to back it up. �She is the Bulldog's lead-off hitter and specializes in left-handed bunting and slapping. �Her speed on the bases help her steal bases and score regularly.

Johnna

Johnna is the back-up catcher and also very commonly used as a designated hitter. She has a tremendous bat that does great damage to any team. She always gets the job done when she is in the box and helps out the team in many different aspects.

Stacy

Stacy is a sub for the outfield and is always there for the team. �She is very fast on the bases and can be put in at any time to steal bases. �She also can do damage as a hitter both left and right. �With her speed, she can get the bunt down left-handed and then run like the wind.

Sophomores:

Genia

She is the starting left-fielder for the Bulldogs. �She is very reliable in the outfield and has a very strong throw that gets out many oponents. �Genia is also a great hitter that is very handy as a lefty too. �She can bunt and slap effectively to match her speed.

Lauren

Lauren is an outfield sub for the Lady Bulldogs. �She also has great speed and can run down most of the balls in the outfield. �She is a threat in the batter's box because she can lay down the bunt left-handed or cream the ball batting right. �She has a lot of power to hit the ball long and hard.

Freshmen:

Jackie

As a first year starter as the catcher, Jackie has been doing exceptionally well. �She is awesome behind the plate and stops anything that comes her way.��She has also risen to be one of the toughest hitters in the line-up to get out. �She has tremendous strength and smashes the ball to all parts of the field.
